MILK IN HUMAN'S DIET
Food raw material, which is milk, is the basis of nutrition in many social cultures, and in particular the youngest members of society, i.e. children. Milk is valued primarily for its relatively high nutritional value and for the fact that it is almost 100% digested in the body. Consuming milk and milk products is a significant complement to our daily diet. First of all, because regardless of its origin, it consists of four basic groups of chemical compounds, i.e. Proteins, Lipids, Carbohydrateds - mainly lactose, minerals.
Each of these groups of ingredients plays a very important nutritional role in the human body.
CONSUMING MILK
Bearing in mind, on the one hand, many health aspects resulting from the consumption of milk and, on the other hand, a frequent reluctance to consume milk, especially by children and a group of adults, there is a need to search for new forms of marketing milk. One such solution is milk powder. One of the easy forms in which powdered milk could be available to consumers is its tableting. Tablet milk is a good and convenient alternative to consuming cow's milk in liquid form. At the same time, milk in the form of tablets will have a significantly longer shelf life and a greater concentration of nutrients in comparison to traditional milk.
EXPECTATIONS OF CONSUMERS
In order to meet the expectations of increasingly demanding and aware consumers, who "put more and more emphasis" on the health aspect of food products, as well as their quality, including organoleptic features, manufacturers must look for innovative technological solutions. The health-promoting aspect of food is associated with its beneficial effect on the human body, not only providing nutritional value, but also affecting the proper functioning of the entire body, as well as preventive action in the field of civilization diseases, such as diabetes, obesity, diseases cardiovascular, neurodegenerative, cancerous and inflammatory.
